We provide comprehensive athletic training and development tailored to each stage of an athlete's growth. Our training programs are specifically designed for various age groups and skill levels to ensure optimal progress and performance at every stage.
Our Story
Matt and Derrick met during their sons' first season in tee ball at Pinckneyville Park in Norcross, GA. Their boy's Sutton and Cam both made the all stars together so the Lischke's and Scott's began seeing more of one another. While our kiddos only played one season of tee ball, Derrick and Matt both agreed that the boys were ready to move up to pee wee and play some more competitive baseball. In doing so, Matt and Derrick would decide to begin coaching together. From there, it was clear the two made a great team.
Matt created social media pages for the business idea and locked down the website yearnfit.com many years ago, but never really pushed go on building out the idea. After a series of texts one random Sunday afternoon with CoachD, Matt and Derrick met for coffee and Matt shared the vision for YEARN. Coach D's response was "Dude, what the heck are you waiting on?" and so the partnership and YearnFit LLC was born. Both Matt and Derrick have a passion for getting the most out of young athletes and want nothing more than to see them succeed in all facets of life. Staying ahead of the competition, developing a healthy lifestyle, and creating a community of thriving young individuals begins with YEARN.
